At Pomopair, we believe that privacy is a fundamental right. We have designed our app to operate with absolute minimalism regarding data: we do not want your data, and we do not collect it.
We do not collect, store, or process any personal information. When you use Pomopair:
Connections between users are established anonymously using random unique identifiers (UUIDs). These identifiers are temporary and are used solely to initiate the connection between two devices.
Our servers function only as a "signaling" service to introduce two devices to each other. Once the connection is established:
Your video and audio streams are transmitted directly from your device to your partner's device (Peer-to-Peer).
This media traffic does not pass through our servers. We cannot see, hear, or record your sessions even if we wanted to.
Because the video stream is Peer-to-Peer (P2P), the data never rests on our infrastructure. It travels directly across the internet between you and your partner using standard WebRTC encryption protocols.
